All Saints, All Cannings

Our village sits about four miles east of Devizes. Nestled to the north of the village is the Kennet and Avon Canal.

We have a village school, public house and shop. Our Parish also includes the nearby hamlet of Allington. All Saints Church, dates from the 13th Century and is grade 2 listed. It can usually be found open during the day for prayer and holds regular Sunday worship. Please check our calendar for details.

All Saints All Cannings Bellringing Team

Start bellringing

Bellringing is a physical activity with the largest and loudest musical instrument in the world - and a great way to make friends.

When we ring the bells, we are connected to a tradition hundreds of years old as well as our community, church, ringing team, branch and guild. And once you are part of our team, you are part of a network of churches and bell towers in almost every city, town and village in the UK.

Bellringing is a fantastic way to stretch mind and body and a tonic to desk-bound school or work, TV streaming or phone scrolling.

At All Cannings, we welcome ages 13 and beyond, and love to teach people to ring. The only fitness you need is to be able to climb up the tower steps and lift your arms above your head.

We also say ‘welcome back’ to returning ringers, and ‘yes, please!’ to experienced method ringers. Practice nights are Wednesday 7.30pm, and we ring for Sunday services and other special events.
